‘Frozen’ is being staged in Hamburg, the first venue in Europe to host the production. Studio Hamburg Design Works GmbH was commissioned to produce the entire set design.

The production captivates audiences with a fascinating blend of imagery set against the backdrop of a Norwegian castle and the picturesque surroundings of the enchanting winter landscape.

The production of the numerous sets is correspondingly diverse. The Norwegian castles were brought to life through intricate carvings and artistic, detailed paintings, the result of months of work. An innovative combination of craftsmanship and state-of-the-art video technology creates surprising effects in the landscape backdrops. The illusion of the all-encompassing ice world is created by elaborately crafted acrylic glass structures, some of which are adorned with thousands of cut glass crystals.

The diversity of the production’s visuals was achieved through the professional collaboration of all trades, down to the smallest detail. Combined with state-of-the-art video and lighting technology, the production of Frozen becomes a unique experience for the audience.
