The current grand show FALLING | IN LOVE on the world’s largest theater stage is an impressive production curated by Parisian star designer Jean Paul Gaultier.
Studio Hamburg Design Works created several key elements of the set design. These include the expansive, illuminated steel structures that frame the stage portal, as well as the moving platform on which the entire orchestra can be transported during the show. A particular challenge was the massive platform used by the acrobats for their performances on multiple trampolines and horizontal bars.
The show is a spectacular combination of colorful costumes, state-of-the-art show technology, breathtaking acrobatics, and an impressive ensemble of international dancers.
