With the opening of its new news centre in autumn 2019, ARD took a significant step towards making *Tagesschau* a multimedia programme. The new newsroom has created future-proof workspaces that enable optimised working practices.
Studio Hamburg Design Works was commissioned with the planning and specification at a very early stage. Consequently, around 90 height-adjustable desks, a central ring for monitoring the latest global news, and a large conference table equipped with state-of-the-art media technology were planned, manufactured and installed.
