Studio Hamburg Design Works redesigned the Rock ’n Pop Museum in Gronau in 2018. The museum covered an area of 500 m² and included 105 tailor-made display cabinets, some interactive, some containing original exhibits.

Iconic stage elements were incorporated into themed areas ranging from wild punk, to Elvis Presley, to Pink Floyd. Further themes showcased Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Hip Hop, Woodstock and Udo Lindenberg with studio equipment and stage outfits being designed and built.

The foyer and entrance area were restyled and a seating landscape created on the gallery.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a 5m high crystal-mirror ‘Madonna’ wall.
